I was just in OccupyEarth and contributed as all there did, in a collective effort.

An individual would like to move to a different Occupy, this channel collective was working on how to provide transportation to accomplish that effort. I believe it is a positive effort, and it was shared among many different supporters of the OWS and the Occupy Channels

Rather than explain it, I thought I’d let you read it for yourself.

It has been brought to my attention by a private source that there is a donating plan, or tick rather in the works, for a specified channel. That channel will not be named,  the person that is pushing this trick, will not be named. The game itself, will be shared publicly. Watch for the game, and use your own common sense.

The following is part of the email I received concerning a trick to get people to donate in a channel during actions . They want a lot of people present. The trick is to claim there are matching funds by one donator. The person making this claim below , doesn’t have to show that they actually made the donation, it’s done to pump the crowd up to give more money. Channels that constantly beat the donate, donate, donate button, but show nothing for the donations are a clue you want to look closure at the channel you are in.

Channels that have regulars that move to “new channels” and reinvent themselves might be another clue.

I’ve personally witnessed this person in the same channel pumping this idea to channel regulars this afternoon. The plan is discussed in vague terms publicly, because there are so many channels they count on not all of the people, seeing it and naive chatters. The same as the 1% realize you and I are too busy to see everything, and exploit your lack of focus is being used here.

Buyer beware. Ask questions before you donate. Find out where the donations will go, ask what they will be used for. The donate sight should give disclosure for it’s donating polices.

Numerous times since the Occupy began, I’ve heard people complain about the donations they made not going as they intended. . . Lets be careful out there.

Explanations in chats is okay, but the donations page is where you need to be clear. Protect your credit cards and legitimate Occupy movement. Don’t get taken!

Donations can do good things, and the OWS has very good channels here on live stream!  It’s the scammer’s  that  can do greater harm for our movement than no donations. We can find the right balance.

Remember the scammers the faux charities that capitalized on the victims of the 9/11?

Lets not let the O.W. S.  repeat that history!

Do some homework, and ensure your hard earned money gets to your intended recipient!

Update!

This is an example in the channels that has given me cause for concern about donations. Our money is desired, but we as donators can’t ask questions unless the person soliciting “likes you”. 

Be sure to create a solid repore before you give your money to the OWS cause ?????

“This is what democracy looks like”

How many times have you heard those two chants by protestors?

How many times have you heard protestors chanting “shame” at police brutality and bullies?

We the OWS, WE the 99% Protest against the silencing of the 99%!
We are in the streets, our protestors have been pepper sprayed, tear gassed, beaten, kettled and targeted by white shirts in very brutal manner…

How can we, the 99%, those that publicly claim the OWS as our movement, how can we serve to protest the 1% and those serving their greed, and allow the same practices within our movement?

How do we serve our “cause” and silence people in chat channels?

How do we serve the OWS , the 99% and accept that people are banned from a channel, UNLESS they sing praises  on  issues they do NOT agree with?

Is that not the same thing we are protesting the 1% and our elected govt for?

How can we as the OWS membership demand transparency in our govt, our courts, our community, and accept anonymous owners of chats to rule a chat with “no freedom of speech allowed”????? Is this what  you truly want to represent our movement and EXPECT the masses of the 99% to return to our movement? Do these people truly represent a movement that is of the people, for the people?

How do chat’s differ from the speech’s made in Hitler’s Germany?
Germans were silent, and did not speak up for Jews.

Chatters may share similar opinions, but they know if you don’t agree with the channel clique, they will be banned. Not all the people are fooled. Not all are willing to take a stand, but enough will! We can change the course the movement is on, and save it from following in the footsteps of the tea party. We can bring the masses back and their support with them, but we have to be different than the entity we protest!

We see special chatters violate the channel rules in a grievous way.  Much like our government is excused from the rules or laws we are to follow. Yet, others speak up about the GA dysfunction, grid lock that is as tight as our own government, and they are banned.  Is this what YOU want? The masses that left the channels.. do you think this is this what they want?

If you assert your Constitutional rights in many of the Occupy Channels, you get banned. You may simply rub a moderator’s ego the wrong way, and be banned across many channels that that mod moderates for.  In a few channels I’ve heard it repeatedly said that egos are the main problem with our movement. Lets fix that!

I too,  once thought we needed a decorum in the channels.
I am guilty as charged of that. People do what they think they know, when they know better they do better. I evolved in my perspective. The process requires evolvement, all 100% must evolve, bend rather than snap and break.

There is a time and place for decorum. Sometimes protestors use decorum, sometimes they don’t. The politically correct sham is more harmful to this movement than helpful, in my humble opinion. Our founding patriots used decorum, and they also used bare knuckles and duels as well. There was passion, there was yelling, swearing, fighting, but America was born!

Mods gone wild channels?
A person could just make the banning go away, by changing their screen name. This isn’t about that.

It is about the 99% purging the infection of greed, selfishness, and fear from within it’s self,  the one and same that the 1% used to exploit the masses. Just as Hitler did.

This is about purging the hypocrisy and inhumanity toward human beings, that in this country, have Constitutional rights!
This is also about looking within our movement, and speaking up when we see it creeping into it.

This is about being smarter than the tea party was, when they were taken over by the gop!

If this goes unchecked the OWS will fall for hitlers playbook!
Dividing people, helping peaceful people to find hate/fear of those different from them, be it their race, their gender, their orientation, their religion, their financial status, their education, their accent, etc. While millions upon millions fight each other within their own country, the govt’s pick fights with other countries, and their is even more distraction for you, while the 1% profits and laughs all the way to their private banks.

Don’t let the 1% and the greedy self serving in the 99% lead you down the path and kill a movement that can save millions, including our children, and their children’s future.

Be smarter, be better, be more evolved than those that fell for the exploitations of Hitler.
